As a young and fast-growing organization, Girls Who Code sought to procure a dynamic, strategic organization to serve as a third party monitoring and evaluation partner to lead both development and implementation of program evaluation and impact assessment for Girls Who Code, as well as serve as a key advisor in building internal staff knowledge and capacity on this topic.

Brandeis University’s Center for Youth and Communities was selected as the M&E partner.
Girls Who Code' mission is to create gender parity in the computer science and technology workforce. Since its founding in 2012, Girls Who Code has developed a new model of computer science education designed to inspire, educate, and equip girls with the skills to succeed in both academic and professional tech careers. By spring 2016, our programs will have reached 10,000 girls to date across the country, including girls from diverse backgrounds and under-served girls from low-income communities.
